Three slots.
Most of the calls.

When someone searches for what you do near where they are, Google shows a map and three businesses. Almost everyone picks one of those three. Getting your profile into that box is the highest-leverage local marketing there is.

Your website has to earn its way onto page one. Your Google Business Profile starts there — if it's set up correctly, and if Google trusts it more than the shop down the road.

Most profiles are half-claimed and left alone. Wrong primary category, missing services, no recent photos, reviews nobody answers, hours that were right two years ago. Every one of those is a signal to Google that the listing isn't well maintained — and a reason to rank the competitor who does maintain theirs.

There is a cliff, and it sits right after the third result. Below it, you're behind a "More places" tap that most people never make.

Geo-grid tracking

Your rank changes
block by block.

A single "what do I rank?" number is close to meaningless for a local business. You might sit at position one outside your own front door and vanish four miles north — where half your customers actually live.

So we measure it as a grid across your whole service radius, then work the edges inward. Tap between the two states to see what that progress looks like.

What we do

The work that
moves the pin.

Google weighs three things: relevance, distance and prominence. We can't move your building, so we go hard at the other two.

Category & service alignment

Your primary category is the single biggest lever on the profile, and most businesses pick the wrong one. We test it against what's actually ranking in your area, then build out secondary categories, services and attributes so Google understands the full range of what you do.

Review generation that runs itself

Not a plea to "leave us a review" — an actual system your crew will use, built into how you already finish a job. Steady, recent reviews carry far more weight than a pile of old ones, and we make the asking automatic rather than something you remember on a slow Friday.

Review responses that rank

Every review gets a reply, and the replies are written to reinforce your services and service area in plain language. It signals an active, well-run business to Google and, more importantly, to the person deciding whether to call you.

Photos, posts & Q&A

Real photos of real work, added on a schedule instead of once at setup. Posts that reflect what's actually going on this season, and a seeded Q&A section that answers what people phone in to ask — before they have to phone in and ask it.

Geo-grid rank tracking

Monthly scans across your service radius so you can see movement where it matters, not just an average that hides the truth. When a corner of the map stays cold, we know it and we work it, rather than guessing from a single ranking number.

Spam fighting

Competitors outrank honest businesses all the time with keyword-stuffed names, fake addresses and lead-gen listings that aren't real companies. We find them and file the redressals. Removing one fake listing above you is the fastest ranking gain there is.

How it goes

Four phases,
measured throughout.

01

Baseline

We scan your current grid, audit the profile field by field, and pull apart the three competitors beating you so we know exactly what we're closing.

02

Rebuild

Categories, services, attributes, description, hours, service area and photos — every field filled correctly and consistently with your website and citations.

03

Activate

Review system installed and running, posting cadence started, Q&A seeded, and any spam listings sitting above you reported.

04

Compound

Monthly grid scans and a plain report on what moved and what didn't. Cold corners of the map get worked deliberately until they warm up.

Questions

Straight answers.

Marked up with FAQ schema — the same technique we build into every client site so answer engines can lift it cleanly.

Profile fixes like categories, services and attributes can move rankings within a few weeks because those signals are direct. Review velocity and citation work compound more slowly, usually over three to six months. Competitive categories in bigger towns take longer than quieter rural markets.

No. Service-area businesses that work out of a home or shop can rank without showing an address publicly, and Google supports that setup directly. The listing does have to be configured correctly as a service-area business, which is one of the more common things we find set up wrong.

Only if it violates Google's policies — spam, a competitor attack, or a review of a business you aren't. Those we can report with a real chance of removal. A genuine unhappy customer stays, and the right move there is a calm, professional public reply. Handled well, it often reads better to prospects than an unbroken wall of five stars.

Distance is one of three factors, alongside relevance and prominence. It's the one we can't change, and it's also why we track rank as a grid instead of a single number — so we can find where you're losing on the factors that we can change and work those areas specifically.

It happens constantly, especially with keyword-stuffed business names and lead-generation listings at addresses nobody works from. We document these and file redressal requests through Google's process. Getting a fake listing removed from above you is often the single fastest ranking improvement available.

The profile can carry a business a long way on its own, but the two reinforce each other. Google cross-checks your listing against your website, so a fast site with matching services, service area and schema makes the profile more credible. It's also where the person who taps through actually decides whether to call.
